Technical Functioning

Novalase combines two powerful wavelengths — 755 nm Alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG — offering effective treatments for all skin types. Alexandrite is optimal for lighter skin tones and finer hair, while Nd:YAG ensures safe epilation and vascular treatments on darker phototypes.

Thanks to its advanced cooling system (water + semiconductor + optional cryogen), Novalase delivers fast, safe and comfortable sessions, making it ideal for demanding aesthetic practices.

Clinical Indications

  1. Hair Removal
    – 755 nm: Selective targeting of melanin in fine/light hair
    – 1064 nm: Deep follicular penetration for darker skin types (phototypes IV–VI)
    → Fast reduction of visible hair with minimal tissue damage
  2. Vascular Lesions
    – 1064 nm targets deep vascular structures (telangiectasias, varicosities, diffuse redness)
    → Coagulates hemoglobin with minimal collateral damage
  3. Pigmented Lesions
    – 755 nm absorbs melanin in lentigines, sun spots, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
    → Gradual clearance with uniform skin tone and enhanced luminosity
  4. Photorejuvenation
    – Stimulates collagen, improves skin texture, and reduces signs of aging
    → Smoother, firmer, and brighter skin
